Cancellations & Refunds
Full payment is due prior to enrollment in a class.
You must notify New Horizons directly if you need to cancel a class. You can contact your Account Executive at (919) 336-1000 (24-hour voicemail). The amount of your refund is determined by the date that you notify your Account Executive of your cancellation.
New Horizons reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment at any time. In the event a cancellation occurs, you will be contacted by your Account Executive. For questions about this policy contact your Account Executive.
In Case of Inclement Weather:
Please call (919) 336-1000 after 6:30 a.m. (3 p.m. for evening classes) for delay or closing information. There will be an alternate greeting that states the current date and whether the center is open as normal, delayed (with the open time) or closed for day and/or night classes. If the center has lost power there will be no greeting and students can assume that the center is closed.
Application Club or Application Coupon:
- A $50 fee per class will be charged if you cancel five or less business days prior to the class.

- No refunds or transfers are granted on application club memberships.
Technical Certification Program or Technical Coupon:

- No transfers are granted on technical club memberships.
- No refunds are granted on technical club memberships once 10% or one class of the program has been completed.
- Private Classes / Room Rentals
Client cancellations made fifteen (15) days or more prior to the scheduled training date will be accommodated at no charge and the event may be rescheduled. In the event of a client cancellation made less than 15 days prior to the scheduled training date, the client acknowledges responsibility to pay a fee representing 100% of the total charge.
- Open Enrollment
New Horizons must be notified 15 or more business days in advance of your scheduled class date should you need to withdraw, cancel, or reschedule your reserved seat in the class. This will secure rescheduling or a refund of your tuition. Withdrawals, cancellations, or rescheduling notifications, (late cancellations), received in writing less than 15 days prior to a scheduled class will not receive a refund or cancellation of unpaid invoice. Late cancellation notifications will be given the opportunity to re-take the course which they cancelled for a period of six (6) months from the original date of class. If a client/student fails to attend any scheduled class in which they are enrolled and has not notified New Horizons the client/student shall be considered a "no show". Any "no show" will not receive a refund or cancellation of unpaid invoice and will not have the opportunity to re-take the course for which they failed to properly notify New Horizons of their cancellation.
