What is it and how does it work?

Accelerated Certifications combine the benefits of "bootcamp" learning and traditional Instructor Led Classroom Learning into focused hands on atmosphere which targets the skill gaps of the student. As students only pay for what they need to learn, it saves money without sacrificing hands on interactive learning and application.

Once a student has selected their desired Certification, a skills assessment is taken by the student. Our Certified instructors will then determine the curriculum necessary to successfully take and pass the certification exams.

The training for the below listed certifications are offered weekly in half day increments from 8:30 am to 1pm in our Mentored Learning Classroom.

What is Mentored Learning?

Focused Learning

The students learning path is customized to specifically fill the necessary knowledge gap. Students are completely in charge of the pace of the course and the content covered so they can focus only what they need to learn.

One-On-One Instruction

Certified Instructors are present to provide ongoing coaching, support and guidance throughout the students training. Instructors engage the students and answer questions and provide additional instruction when needed to help increase comprehension and retention of the course material.

Certification Coach and Exam Preparation

Students will access a Certification Coach for 6 months. The Certification Coach is an expert Certified Instructor who will proactively support students during their certification studies through the following:

• Demonstration Tools
• Proactive Exercises
• Feedback

Each student is provided with a license to MeasureUp exam prep software to study and assess the readiness of taking and passing their exam.

Test Pass Guarantee

New Horizons will pay for student's exams if they fail their first exam. Students need to successfully complete two Measure Up assessments with 90% or higher. If the student fails, New Horizons will pay for the retake exam.
