Cisco certification as a result of Raleigh Cisco training ensures high standards of technical expertise. Achieving Cisco certification-at any level-means joining the ranks of skilled network professionals who have earned recognition and respect in the industry.

3. Schedule your exam. The exam can be taken at New Horizons or another Authorized Testing Center.

4. If you do not meet the required score to pass the certification exam, contact your Education Consultant. New Horizons will pay for your exams until you pass! (Must repeat step 2 before each exam attemp.)

Cisco Certified Network Associate

A Raleigh CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) indicates a foundation in and apprentice knowledge of networking for the small office/home office (SOHO) market. Raleigh CCNA-certified professionals can install, configure and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small networks (100 nodes or fewer), including but not limited to use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, IPX, Serial, AppleTalk, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists.

CCNA CLASS

  • To prepare for the CCNA certification exam, New Horizons offers training on Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (NH training for ICND).

Cisco Certified Network Professional

The CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certifies an individual's networking skills at the advanced level. Candidates who pass proctored exams will receive a CCNP certificate from Cisco and may use the CCNP designation on their business cards. In particular, the CCNP certification indicates knowledge of networking for organizations whose networks have from 100 to more than 500 nodes. A CCNP can do the following: (1) Implement appropriate technologies to build a scalable routed network (2) Build campus networks using multilayer switching technologies (3) Improve traffic flow, reliability, redundancy, and performance for campus LANs, routed and switched WANs, and remote access networks (4) Createand deploy a global intranet (5) Troubleshoot an environment that uses Cisco routers and switches for multiprotocol client hosts and services.

  • New Horizons training on Building Scalable Cisco Networks (NH training for BSCN) (Prepares the students for the CCNP Routing exam)
  • New Horizons training on Building Cisco Remote Access Networks (NH training for BCRAN) (Prepares the students for the CCNP Remote Access exam)
  • New Horizons training on Building Cisco Multi-layer switched networks (NH training for BCMSN) Prepares students for the CCNP Switching exam)
  • New Horizons training on Cisco Internetwork Troubleshooting (NH training for CIT) (Prepares students for the CCNP Support exam.)
