Fayetteville State University (FSU) has entered into a partnership with New Horizons Computer Learning Center of Raleigh & Fayetteville to offer some of the computer industry's most popular technical certification programs. These programs have been specifically designed for military personnel utilizing their Tuition Assistance (TA) entitlement.
Technical Certification Programs Available for Tuition Assistance (TA)
*Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE)
*Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA)
Program Specifics
- No out of pocket expenses for the student
- Fayetteville State University (FSU) is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
- Courses, with FSU course numbers, are listed in the FSU Extended Learning course catalogue at http://www.uncfsu.edu/conted/NewHorizons/.
- Students taking these courses will be enrolled through Fayetteville State University .
- TA authorization from the student's perspective military branch will be issued to FSU.
- Students who are members of the Regular Army, Army Reserve or National Guard can participate in the TA program through the GoArmyEd portal ( www.earmyu.com ). FSU is an approved LOI college.
- FSU will invoice AEC, by student name, for course payment(s).
- FSU has established a policy for the education office to recoup costs in the event of dropouts, failures, or unresolved incompletes.
- Upon completion of the program, FSU will issue a Certificate of Completion and a transcript/course report upon request.
- FSU has approved and authorized New Horizons of Raleigh & Fayetteville as its extension course provider in North Carolina for Microsoft technical certification programs.
